PCC Members of the Year

2016 ST. LOUIS PCC POSTAL MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD

We are very proud to announce that Beverly Freeman has been selected as The Greater St. Louis PCC Postal Member of the Year for 2016!

Bev was chosen because she is a hard charger who has been outstanding in her support of the Greater St. Louis PCC. She is a self-motivator who immediately jumped in and took over when the previous Customer Relations Coordinator retired. Not knowing anything about PCC at the time, Bev learned, stepped up to the plate, and made sure everything was taken care of for the upcoming PCC events and deadlines.

In addition, Bev is an active PCC member who attends all monthly meetings and local PCC events such as the PCC golf outings and educational conferences. The Greater St. Louis PCC is very appreciative of Bev’s ongoing efforts, service, and support of the PCC mission.

Bev started her career with the United States Postal Service in 1989 as LMS Clerk at the St. Louis P&DC. She was reassigned to a Distribution Clerk position in St. Louis City in 1998. Since being promoted to Administrative Assistant for the St. Louis Postmaster in 2014, Bev has been a vital asset to Cathy Vaughn in the management of her City Offices.

Bev has 2 sons and 1 grandson.  She, and her significant other, Tony, share a love of swing dancing – they are both instructors – and baseball.

The Greater St Louis PCC is pleased to reward this hard charger by awarding her PCC postal member of the year 2016! Congratulations Bev and thanks for all you do!
